Make a booklet from a PDF
Turn a PDF into a booklet: pages are arranged two to a sheet in fold-and-staple order, so you print double-sided, fold the stack and staple the spine. Blank pages are added if needed. Nothing is uploaded.

How to make a booklet from a PDF
- 1
Open your PDF
Drop in the document, such as a programme, a zine, a manual or an order of service.
- 2
Pick the paper
Letter or A4 makes half-size booklet pages; “Same as the PDF” keeps each page at full size on a sheet twice as wide.
- 3
Print, fold, staple
Print the result double-sided, flipping on the short edge. Fold the whole stack in half and staple along the fold.

Frequently asked
Why are the pages out of order in the file?+
That is the booklet order: on the first sheet the last page sits beside page 1, and on its back page 2 sits beside the second-to-last page. Once printed double-sided and folded, they read in order.
What if my page count is not a multiple of four?+
Each folded sheet carries four pages, so blank pages are added at the end to make up the count.
How do I print it?+
Print double-sided and choose “flip on short edge” (sometimes called short-edge binding). Without a duplex printer, print the odd sheets, turn the stack over and feed it back in for the even ones.
Is my file uploaded?+
No. The booklet is arranged inside your browser.
