Accessibility
We want Filezuma to work for everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom or high contrast.
Last updated 19 October 2026
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Pages are built with standard HTML controls, can be used with a keyboard, follow your light or dark mode setting, and keep text contrast at or above the AA minimum. Our main pages score 100 for accessibility in Google Lighthouse, which we check when we change them; automated checks catch only some problems, so we also rely on what you tell us.
What does not work well yet
- The PDF editor and the page thumbnails in tools like Organize PDF are visual by nature: placing text, shapes or signatures on a page, or dragging pages into order, is hard or impossible with a screen reader. Tools that work from a page range (Split, Extract and Delete pages) are the accessible way to do most of the same jobs.
- The PDFs our tools produce are not tagged for screen readers. If you need an accessible PDF, the original document's own software usually produces a better one.
- Drawing a signature needs a mouse, finger or pen; everywhere you can sign, you can type your signature instead.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on Filezuma does not work for you, write to hello@filezuma.com with the page and what happened. We answer within a few working days, and where we cannot fix it quickly we will help you get the task done another way.
