Dark mode is selected for you. Standard suits reading on screen; High keeps small print sharper.

Each page is redrawn with a dark background and light text on your device. The original text stays underneath, so search and copy still work.

Frequently asked
How is this different from inverting the colours?+
A plain inversion turns red into cyan and photos into negatives. This flips only how light or dark each colour is, so a red heading stays red and blue links stay blue, and white pages become a soft near-black rather than harsh pure black.
Can I still search and copy the text?+
Yes, with “Keep the text searchable” on (the default): the original page is kept underneath the dark version.
Why not just use my PDF reader's dark mode?+
Many readers have none, and the ones that do only change the screen. A dark PDF stays dark on any device, in any app, and when you send it to someone.
Is my file uploaded?+
No. Every page is redrawn inside your browser, so the document never leaves your device.
