Frequently asked
Is the covered text really gone?+
No — whiteout covers it, like correction fluid on paper; the original stays in the file underneath. To remove something so it cannot be recovered, use Redact PDF. To change a line properly, Pro's Edit text tool removes the original and sets new text in its place.
Can I do more than this on the same page?+
Yes. This opens the full editor: text, images, drawing, shapes, highlights, whiteout, links, notes, signatures and page tools are all in the toolbar.
Is my file uploaded?+
No. The editor runs inside your browser, so the document never leaves your device. Edits are kept as a draft on your own device until you start over.
